In-Person Class Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (there will be a 1-hour lunch break)
In this class we’ll create unique printed backgrounds, using your gel plate as a painting tool. Then, we’ll create abstract figures on the backgrounds with several different methods—painting, reduction, printing, chipboard prints, and more.
Please bring:
- Basic tool kit: Ranger craft sheet, scissors, paint brushes, mini blending tool, foams, water sprayer, paint pens like Posca, water container to clean your brushes, baby wipes, paper towels, paper plate or palette paper to use as a palette (or you can just use your craft sheet). You may also want a small notebook and a pen for taking notes.
- Your art journal.
- A small gel plate, no bigger than 8×10. I like one even smaller, around 5×7 or 4×6.
