Create a custom-colored marker with the new Karappo pens!
Karappo, the Japanese word for empty, both names and describes these new markers from Kuretake. They come in several pieces, ready to be filled with the ink of whatever color you choose.
This version features a fine brush tip.
Ink is not included. These pens are compatible with the inks in Kuretake's "Ink-Café at Home" kit, or most fountain pen / non-waterproof inks.
(*Note: Thicker inks, like acrylics or other waterproof pigment-based inks, will have trouble flowing through this type of marker and should not be used. Metallics are also not recommended as the shimmering pigments may not be able to travel through the tip.)
Karappo pens are filled by letting the included "ink reservoir" piece soak up ink and then seal that piece inside of the pen.
