Rusting Powder allows the creation of an almost instant rust effect on fabric, paper, and many surfaces. Use a craft adhesive or other gel medium to provide an adhesive for the powder to stick on the surface to be treated. Sprinkle the powder over the wet medium and shake off excess. Spritz with water or white vinegar/ lemon juice and allow to activate. When dry, gently brush away any loose powder. Some surfaces or projects may benefit from a coat of sealants such as satin or gloss glaze.
